"A bit outside the city but because of there being a bus stop 3 minutes walk away it made getting there really easy. Rooms were clean and quiet.

"Beautiful property. Food was excellent. Enjoyed a nice hike on the property to see the spot where Mary Queen of Scots surrendered herself to the English lords. The decor is beautiful inside. We only stayed one night but enjoyed the experience. Wait staff was inexperienced during our visit but that was a minor issue."

"The staff were awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel special. The location was more than amazing. A one minute walk to the Royal Mile with all the sights, history and pubs and restaurants. The vibe was spot on for Old Town Edinburgh. Would never stay anywhere else when we return to Edinburgh!"

"Breakfast was good, wide choice. Bed was awfull, very bouncy and you sank into giving a sore back. Floor slopped as well. Excellent location. Room needs updating, different colour every wall. Basin was cracked. Shower pressure good. Drainage a problem. Toilet roll holder you need to be a contortionist."

"The property was absolutely beautiful, very well taken care of the staff was very kind the very first day we met a older gentleman that it was his last day. He was retiring. He was amazing. They really are gonna feel his absence. They only complaint that I have through the whole time. I stayed there which was six days is that the bus stop? They have no walkway for people to walk down to a no path or nothing is just road and plenty of times. I almost got hit. They need something. I don’t know...

"We have stayed before at this hotel and had a very well appointed room and bathroom each time.
This time , we were disappointed by the state of the bathroom. It was obviously fitted out for disabled customers (which we did not require) , but quite dated and had a distinct smell in the room and bathroom.
We did get our room cleaned… of a fashion. We didn’t get clean cups for our tea/ coffee or any replacement pods for the coffee machine which was disappointing .
This has unfortunately made us...

"Great quirky studio apartment! Comfortable bed, great room overall! Very modern design which we appreciated, even just little things like lights under the bed so when you get up in the middle of night it lights your way to the stairs!
Staff were really helpful and welcoming.
Even in the middle of the city the hotel room felt quiet and tucked away.
Easy 10/15 minute walk to main areas / shops and restaurants.
Would stay here again!"
