"We loved staying here! It’s secluded, intimate, and just picture-perfect. Abner was a great host and responded to small hiccups we experienced throughout the stay. "We had a great stay at this hotel, and the staff really went out of their way to make it pleasant. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed spending time on the balcony overlooking the river, where it was easy to relax and watch the birds. Mornings came with the sounds of howler monkeys, and evenings by the river were filled with frogs, which added to the atmosphere. The hotel has a great restaurant, and eating outside in the evenings was very enjoyable. Bug spray is a must, but the geckos on the patio ceiling were clearly doing their best to keep the mosquitoes in check. Overall, it was an easy, relaxing stay, and we’d be happy to come back."
