"It was a little confusing where to park on the mainland. I emailed hotel asking for parking code which worked on the gate. Check in on mainland and take free bus across the water to Mont Saint Michel. We left luggage in the car and had items we needed for the night in our backpacks which is definitely the way to go as we never could have hauled our luggage up the cobblestone street and then up 6 flights of narrow stairs to our room. Be sure to save your parking ticket as you will need it to exit...

"Only two issues at this hotel: The carpet was dirty to the point it felt dirty, and the picture for the room online showed a view from the windows of the bay. The room was in the back of the hotel and the window faced the wall of the walkway directly below, not facing the village or the bay. Was told by reception that I reserved a “village view” room, which I didn’t. Nowhere on the reservation did it ask me if I wanted a bay view or village view. "The property itself is beautiful clearly been decorated professionally by a designer. However there is no WiFi and very poor mobile reception resulting in no means of using your mobile in addition there are no Televisions in the rooms or in the communal area so entertainment is very limited. I really think they need to sort this out. That apart the stay was very pleasant "
