"Super convenient and bougie hotel! Great location right on the Douro. Everything was great; just a bit on the pricey side. A bit disappointing that I couldn’t get a room with a balcony or a reservation on the rooftop restaurant, but oh well. Breakfast was good. Was a great surprise to have a second bathroom! As Canadians, the absence of decent, large size coffee is a bummer, but that’s the European way!"

"Gorgeous view of the Ribeira from our room in this well located guest house. The room was tiny but comfortable for a couple having a short stay. We enjoyed the close proximity of some of Porto and Gaia’s best restaurants and destinations. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was abundant and delicious."

"I did not get a printed bill so have no idea what i was charged for, i was charged 39 euro for a glass of wine without being asked if that price was okay, felt like i was being taken advantage of at each turn amd pretty upset. The staff are cur courteous but trained to push an agenda rather than understand what the guest wants. "

"Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Gebäude ist von der Straßenseite eher unscheinbar, dahinter liegt ein großzügiges, modern elegant und stilvoll gestaltetes Hotel mit Blick auf Portos Altstadt und mit einem angenehmen Garten mit Terasse. Nebenan liegt das WOW, aber ab 22 Uhr wurde dort die Musik leise und wir fühlten uns nicht gestört. Auch das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr vielfältig und wird in einem stilvollen Rahmen serviert. Insgesamt vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen."
