Great location, easy access despite late arrival. Some rooms close to reception can be noisy, but I had ear plugs so it was fine.

Cheap, amazing location, poor entrance and lift

The room itself was clean and modern. The entrance to the build wasn't easy to fine and they are on the top floor so you must use the lift. The loft was tiny, old, and didn't lol very safe. There were no pictures of the lift before booking, I think they should mention this before booking as was misleading. The location was amazing, all in all it's not a bad place, but I personally wouldn't stay there again

Great location steps away from the Plaza de Catalunya. Walking distance from the main attractions. Everything you need (shopping, food, groceries, etc.) very close by. Check in was seamless, and the apartment is very clean, modern, and comfy. It’s a bit hard to see the entrance sign, and for some reason taxi drivers kept dropping us off at the end of the block, but it was not inconvenient.

Small but comfortable and great location

The room was small but clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a somewhat difficult to find the office. Some signs and specific instructions would be helpful. But everything else was great. The location is very central and lots of attractions are easy to reach by walking.

I'm glad I read the reviews regarding the difficulty in finding the place as there is not a visible check-in desk from the front entrance. Yes, the elevator is small but not an issue for us. Two people at a time with luggage. If using the elevator, push the #3 button and take the elevator up. Step out of the elevator, go right and you will see the door with a sign and button on the wall. Push the button and the nice staff member will let you in. We really enjoyed staying at Fontanella by BCN URBAN ROOMS. The staff was very friendly and our room was available upon arrival. The room was clean with very comfortable beds. We wanted to stay in a hotel that was walking distance to everything we needed and this was perfect. Lively and lovely city of Barcelona. Thank you!

The property needs to do a better job with signage, how to enter the building & get to their office. It was super confusing! The floor was clean & smelled lovely. The room itself is tight but clean. No one is at the front desk, you communicate through an intercom. Sometimes it takes awhile to get someone to answer & follow through with your requests. It is however located in a great area & super convenient for the airport bus shuttle.

This is a great property for tourists, since it is very close to Plaza Catalunya and many public transportation options. It is also very close to the bus coming from the airport, shops, and tourist attractions. The property is located in a building that looks like a private residence. The publication should mention the need to climb about 15 steps to reach the elevator, since this is key for people coming with luggage. Room access is keyless; the access code is programmed upon arrival. There is also keyless access to the building and the property with the code provided upon check-in. The room was not very spacious, but it was comfortable and enough for what I needed. It had a safe and mini fridge. I wish it had had some more space to put my luggage. The bathroom was ok, and the shower was great. Service includes soap and a shower gel/shampoo bottle, plus towels. The staff were very friendly. The reservation includes daily cleaning service.

Too expensive for the level. This is more like a huge apartment converted into multiple rooms on one floor. Rooms are decent however, and can have an okay view. Common area is okay, the building this is in and the small elevator to get to the right floor are run down and in bad shape. The main photo here and the "exterior" shots are none of the hotel, so this feels a bit misleading.
