"The property is now under new ownership and it’s so upsetting because the views are absolutely breathtaking but housekeeping is only done upon request and even when you request it they leave the room service dishes in the middle of the table and do t replace your towels. We had to arrange our own taxis and handle our own luggage. This property has a long way to go in the hospitality industry if they’re going to succeed!"

"We had the most wonderful stay at The Podere Wine Resort Chianti. The property is absolutely beautiful, with everything brand new and every detail thoughtfully considered. The pool is superb, the rooms are gorgeous, and the rooftop terrace was such a lovely spot to relax and take in the surroundings.
Dinner was excellent, and one of the highlights of our stay was the wine tasting. Marta was fantastic and made the experience really special.
Everything about the place feels carefully considered,...

"What a nightmare. This is a hotel that does not want Expedia bookings and the impact of that can be seen in the rooms and service they provide to those who have used Expedia. Expensive hotel, dark rooms, splashes of something (??) on the wall, dangerous showers, lack of staff attentiveness (except the front desk team), poor communication from management after sharing our experience directly (it took four days to get a response to our email), etc. Florence is expensive, spend your money...

"This is a wonderful hotel located on the Piazza della Repubblica and is convenient to both the Duomo and the Uffizi Galleries. The historic hotel was comfortable, clean and well maintained, especially for a 150 year old property. We would definitely consider staying here again on any future trips to Florence."

"We had a very difficult flight/delayed luggage situation for our Florence arrival. The staff at the Globus Urban Hotel was so amazing and accommodating as we waited days for our luggage to show up. The room was bright, clean and had amazing AC so we felt very comfortable during our stay. The included breakfast was so good we did not feel the need to go anywhere else. Best and most beautiful cappuccinos I've ever had. The staff even left a bottle of prosecco, 2 glasses and a thoughtful note in...
