"Our stay at Albergo Cappello was excellent! We were there for just one night before boarding our cruise out of Ravenna. The room was nice, very cozy, and the personalized breakfast was wonderful. The staff took great care of us, even helping us change our shuttle to pick us up from the hotel instead of the nearby train station so we wouldn't have to lug our suitcases in the rain. I was very impressed with the hospitality. Did not have chance to try their wine bar but would in the future."

"Exceptionally spacious room for families is a few floors up, but worth the effort of climbing stairs. The two large rooms share a bathroom, but also include a dining table with chairs and plenty of seating and lounging spaces to feel right at home. Location is superb for mosaic exploration and the staff was kind to let us in a bit earlier than anticipated. Airport and cruise port transfers were timely and reasonably priced. "Pros: close to city centre, wonderful staff, excellent breakfast. Cons: the room/bed was extremely uncomfortable. We both woke up with tons of back pain, it was like sleeping on a pull out couch. I woke up multiple times in the night as the room was also very hot. The room was very dated, although clean. If rooms get updated, I would recommend. Otherwise, I would not return."

The room was great, a/c ran cold, nice clean room, great bathroom, water pressure, great comfortable bed, pillows. Staff is very friendly/helpful. "We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing, they accommodated us with bikes in the morning, We met up with the rest of our family and they went above and beyond to welcome us all in the lobby. The area is a 3 minute walk from the train station and 15 minute walk to the square where you find restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend."
