The Room was Clean and the Staff was very accommodating. The bed was hard so it was not a comfortable Sleep. On kaosan Road it is a Party Road that Starts at 6:00PM and goes non stop Until 6:00AM the room is not soundproofed but they do provide earplugs and the view of the wall gives you some privacy and if you dont need alot of space this place is for you.
Brilliant location, with stunning panoramic views of Bangkok from the rooftop pool. The street below was a complete madhouse, it was so noisy, you couldn’t sleep, this chaos went on till about 4am

Safe enough but loud
So loud! The staff leave the door jarred open in the hallway to the outside so the vibration of the music from the street shakes the door until 3/4am. Along with it being the busiest and loudest street, this was an additional pain. Don't stay unless you stay out late.
Room was tiny but to an acceptable cleanliness level. Two separate beds as one double but no room to separate them (unsure if all rooms are like that). You have to ask for towels and if you want your room cleaning which is good for me as I don't like people coming in/wasting laundry, and there is a safe big enough for a laptop.
The air-conditioning didn't seem to change temperature when you changed it to a warmer one.
The staff were friendly and happy to help out.
It’s close but crazy loud with the noise from the street. It’s clean and cheap but if you want to sleep before 5am go somewhere else.

It was really very loud untill one o' clock in the morning. If you like to go out at night, it's no problem. But if you want to sleep it's the wrong hotel.
Good hotel in the middle of everything. Farely quite most of the time. Rooms are small but clean. Walking street right outside front door. Hotel is set bsck from street so no street noise. All in all for the price it's a bargain.
It’s noisy but not their fault. Kaosan road is loudest street on the planet.

The heart of Kaosan road party scene.
The hotel itself is not bad, and can be recommended for people that come to Bangkok for the Kaosan road party scene, as it is right in the middle of it. Sleeping before 3.30 am is impossible. During the day it's super silent and enjoyable. Great if you went out like a warrior the night before.
As a paying customer, I expect a certain level of comfort and privacy during my stay at a hotel. I was disappointed that I could not enjoy my room's peaceful and quiet environment.
The room are much smaller than they actually looks in pictures. About the same size of a large shed. Sink wouldn’t fits in the bathroom so they had it next to your bed. If you don’t like your neighbor backyard music this is not the place for you. Extremely loud music comes on from
5pm- 6am so a bed is not necessary for this hotel.
the rooms do not reflect the photos, in the evening it is absolutely not possible to sleep, although they leave earplugs on the furniture I think it is right to warn before the problem. unfriendly reception, always seems to be doing you a favor. find more. absolutely.
Violet Tower is right at Khaosan road and while I had a room at the backside, with many pubs downstairs with blasting music the party noise is overwhelming till 2 am and does not stop fully till 4 am. Avoid Violet tower since all rooms either look out at the road, or are perpedicular to the road - for the noise this does not make a difference. Had noise cancelling headphones but they did not help. I guess rooms at Khaosan Palace proper are further back and better. But best book something a bit away from the road in another place if you want to be close to the party and at the same time have a quiet night.
You get what you pay for. Violet tower has no elevator, I had to move luggage by myself. The noise is alot, I was able to sleep through it but I can see it might be a struggle for others.
I booked it because I was excited for the pool, but guest are very load, super busy and the pool water was super gross, it seemed like no one cleaned the pool.
Unless u are there to save, I wouldnt go again.
Also staff could care less
