We had a wonderful stay at Oakwood Hotel & Residence . Walking distance to Sathorn pier where you can cross over to Iconsiam Mall and also to the temples. Also a Bts train right next to the pier. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good, we only had it once but it had a good variety of options. I recommend staying at this hotel !

We stayed in oakwood phnom phen and it was amazing, but here in Bangkok not the same. Location wasn’t as great as we thought, but it was near the del bts & water taxi, they have a washer and dryer in the parking lot free of charge, staff were ok, breakfast buffet was really good, different every day. And they have a wonderful thing, extended breakfast til 2 pm, not buffet but good, but without AC. We stayed one week first day it rain and the water came inside the room they change us next day with and upgrade.

MY 1ST CHOICE FOR BANGKOK STAYS. A well-maintained hotel and residence facility with a professional and responsive front desk team. The gentleman, nicknamed "Monty" makes every stay of mine fulfilling; I see him as ever present in or near the lobby orchistrating the 5 star treatment of all of this Oakwood's guests. "Saii" is equally a professional member of this Oakwood team; she ensured that my room was always clean and well provisioned with amenities...I always feel welcomed like I was coming home by this Oakwood staff...they are a credit not only to themselves and Oakwood, but to Ascott as well - they are the "Thai smile" that makes every stay here special.

It is almost a good location, you are in front of the bts but you have to walk 2 km to take it, an a little more to take the water taxi, noisy please you can hear the motorcycles at night, the room it is good but the first day it rain inside my room so they upgrade us to a family room that was huge, they have washer and dryer at the parking lot but in the shade I did use it, breakfast was good and they have extended breakfast with good options til 2 pm but sometimes they don’t like to served to you because they are cleaning for next shift

As usual Oakwood staff were top notch. Monty was the staff member who brought it all together. Without him there would have been some confusion, but he resolved all language or communication differences which my stay 5 stars.

Hotel was located close to main BTS Saphin Taksin and the Sathorn Pier, which gets you along the Choa Praya River. Hotel itself was very clean and staff were amazing. I stayed with my teenage son and felt safe the entire time. Hotel has carded entry and guard on staff at all times. We will stay there again! ขอบคุณ

Very good amenities and easy to travel both on ground and water. Staff are so helpful. The building is quite old. So, it's smell of mold a bit. The door doesn't have stopper. 1st night was peaceful. 2nd night, some children are running and banging the door. The 3rd morning, someone had the issues with the door or the lock. Instead of contact the hotel. He keeps banging the door for half an hour, then the staff came. He was furious and start to shout. Take for sometime before things back to silence again. So, doors aren't sounds proof and no stoppers. If your room is closed to someone doesn't care about other. You will hear banging door all the time.
