First off, in the description box, it says
the hotel provides toothbrushes, toothpaste, and some other necessities. Yet, the hotel didn't offer us any of this, apart from shampoo, shower gel, toilet rolls, and bottles of water.
A water heater is not working quite well. To the extent that, during a shower, I kept adjusting the knob to get the water temperature right. However, half of the time, water tended to be cold.
Moreover, the electric stove was not plugged and Idk where the socket was.
One more, there were ants in the room, esp on the stove and next to the sink.
The room is spacious which is fabulous. The patio is sort of nice.
The gym and swimming pool are now closed for maintenance until the end of May or June (if my memory serves me right)
I strongly recommend other travelers to inquire before making their bookings with this hotel, making sure it accommodates your needs.
This place was nearly perfect: walking distance to shopping malls, the Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy, and dozens upon dozens of local bars, renegade food/booze carts, and a ridiculous abundance of retail options, both indoor "real" shops and hundreds of street hawkers. Add that it was a 5 minute walk the the Nana LRT station and the location was pretty much all you could ask for. The ONLY small issue I had was YouTube wouldn't load on the TV. In the grand scheme of things, that's a minor, minor complaint. You also have to be prepared for a bit of a gritty neighborhood with ladyboys and ladies of the night both grabbing and calling at you all hours of the day. All that said, if I ever go back to Bangkok I'd 100% stay at Dazzle again, no hesitation.
