We had an amzing stay,the staff was nice and the service was extremely good. They had vegetarian options for breakfast and the taxi for my airport also arrived early, goes to show how well planned they are.

1. The hotel room was nice & comfortable 2. Extra bed not value for money @ 1500 baht per night with such poor quality mattress and hard. 3. Bathroom was spacious but the table at the basin was way too small and hardly can put all the toiletries around. 4. Hot was pressure was really low & water slow. 5. Hotel location was convenient access to MRT that was the USP. 6. Breakfast choice was limited and capacity is quite small the tables are too near to each other.

We loved our stay
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Akyra. The breakfast was amazing, staff were extremely helpful and the room was clean and lovely. Only downside was the water got a bit smelly in the bathroom sometimes.

Great boutique hotel
This boutique hotel was outstanding. The room was gorgeous and modern and the service was excellent. My boyfriend and I are vegan and they accommodated us for breakfast, making vegan french toast and pancakes. Overall, a great stay in Bangkok.

Good location as it is on Sukhumvit 20. The room is spacious with great view. Love the balcony so the view of BKK nightlife is stunning.

Nice, comfy, cossy Luxury Hotel
Hotel is clean, bright, staffs are friendly. Walking distance to family mart and 711, Massage shop. Nice rooftop restaurant with sweet singer live performances, very relax atmosphere. We were staying for bday trip, got free dessert and fruits to us. Nice balcony, relax sofa.. Breakfast is ala carte buffet, main course choose any 2 from the menu. Beverage, bread, fruits, coffee at your convenience. Walking distance bout 1km to Terminal 21. Walking distance bout 1.8km to nice bihun soup shop. Overal all are good. Only this thing regretly not happy is receptionist did not tell us our other room which paid for 4 nights but stayed 2 nights due to cannot refund can be freely upgrade to Suite. Other than that, it's a pleasure stay.

New and nice stylish hotel with reasonable price
Everything in the hotel is good and it’s good that it’s a green hotel, feeling environment friendly. Great breakfast, very impressive French toast. We enjoyed the stay with excellent service provided by all staff in the hotel we met. 3 areas for improvement are : the lights in hotel room are not enough, swimming pool was closed and the bad smell right outside the hotel.

Staffs were nice. Breakfast choices were nice. Room were a good size. But the area around is not very nice with a lot of street food around which makes the environment a bit dirty. Also the room smells of damp which is a problem with many south east Asia hotel with humidity.

There's a beautifully decorated lobby and the staff is really nice. The breakfast is fantastic. It' very close to the skytrain and there is a good mall closeby as well. Only thing I didn't like is the picture of our room on the website that I booked for didnt match our room. It was a clean and ok looking room but it wasnt the room that the website showed me that I was paying for. Their pool picture is also misleading. It shows way bigger in the pictures but it's actually kind of small. Like an aquarium.

Short stay but worth the effort
Only stayed one night ... arrived late and left early however the whole experience was outstanding . Would highly recommend this modern and chic hotel to everyone . Views over the city were also fantastic. Not one bad thing to say about it

There is a scam going at this hotel by their staf
Breakfast was great. When I asked a meter taxi for airport transportation, a reception staff told that meter taxi cant go to airport because police catches meter taxi, which is a lie. After all, they arranged high priced driver. Once I got in, the driver raised the fee. I said No. Then, he took local streets to airport. I almost missed my flight due to this.

A little Gem
A fantastic find! The first plastic free hotel in Bangkok (which isnt easy for BKK). Beautiful bed linen and very comfortable beds. Great area around the pool and bar on the rooftop.

Gem in the city
Stopped for a few days in Bangkok whilst in Thailand. Excellent location and amazing hotel. Room was so comfortable and bedding was fantastic!!! First plastic free hotel in Bangkok and it lived up to it. Beautiful bar on the roof, fab food and cocktails. Will definately return.

A few minor niggles as there often is anywhere but after my first time here I am very impressed. First the negs....no hot water the first afternoon and no drinking water in the room? The water was looked at the first night and it was better but still ran hot/cold, the drinking water was a mere oversight. The location is ideal for us, easy bts at either phrom phong or asoke. Locality can be either good or bad depending on what you're visiting for I guess. The breakfast room/downstairs restaurant is small, perhaps too small for breakfast if everybody arrives at once. Breakfast itself was really nice/different, service a little lacking but it was busy. It's a la carte so the buffet part is totally token and really an afterthought. As a boutique establishment (in the proper sense of the word), breakfast is boutique and the pool is too....however two choices from the a la carte pp should be enough to satisfy anyone and the dishes are all great and beautifully presented. I didn't swim in the pool but it's a kinda plunge pool which of course is adequate and the pool deck is pleasant too. I loved the room I was allocated (upgraded supposedly)....really nice, neat interior decor, wood effect flooring and fittings, elegant bathroom with slick understated tiling, separate shower and bath, city view window. The room itself was a kinda L shape + alcove/entry with a great bed and linen, desk, wardrobe, mirror, f/s tv, kitchenette , balcony etc. I'd definitely go back, no question at all.

Very nice hotel with wonderful staff, excellent food and fun rooftop bar! Rooms are quite noisy due to auto-slamming of other room doors on your floor, and very poor noise insulation both on the balcony side and at the entry to each room.

Wonderful hotel with courteous service and a great bar. My room was spacious, clean and seemed very new. The food and drink were fairly priced and delicious. Staff went above and beyond to make my stay a pleasurable one. I highly recommend and look forward to staying at this hotel again in the future.

The common area is good.
It's rather noisy, Soi 20 is rather noisy. The breakfast is messy: waiters could not handle so many guests at the same time. Nevertheless the room is bigger than average.

Great place to stay
The hotel was great from the staff to the rooms. Food was great. Good location!! Staff was always smiling and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend staying here. Rooms were nice, very clean and comfortable beds. Rooftop bar and pool is great as well :)

Beautiful Hotel
The room was great with an awesome balcony. Real friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast options were great. Rooftop pool and bar were incredible and terrific view. The area is great too with many different places to eat or get massage.

Attentive staff with personal touch
The hotel staff were attentive and provided that personal touch. Though it was not a full buffet for breakfast, the quality of food was great. However, if normal size pillow were provided instead of the two huge ones, it would be more comfortable for me.

Stylish boutique hotel, environmentally aware
I picked this hotel because I was looking for "green" hotels for our journey to Thailand. I mean, we're flying across the world which in itself is enough to get a guilty conscience, I didn't want to contribute further to worldwide pollution by using the well known single-use plastic amenities which are offered in basically every hotel. Akyra Sukhumvit claims on their website they are single-use plastic free, and I wasn't disappointed. Bathroom, bins, breakfast, no plastic to be seen. Very well done, guys! And it is proof, if we want to, we can achieve change! But environmental aspects aside, we had a fab stay in the hotel! The service is excellent, breakfast vast with a wide variety of local and western dishes. Adding the rooftop bar and the marvellous view over the skyline on top of everything, when coming back to the hotel and having a drink, after a long day in the busy streets of Bangkok, one can only have a great time here. You've made two travellers very happy indeed!
