"We had stayed here a few years back and were impressed with the place but this time if we hadn't prepaid we would have left & just gone to a local motel. The balcony barely had room to stand, no closet space and a very small room. The breakfast consisting of a boiled egg or a bowl of oatmeal and wasn't worth the walk to go to the office to get it. This place is a pretty expensive place to stay & was definitely not worth it."

"I was looking for an overnight spot driving from Washington to SoCal and found the listing for b.side motel. I have often thought that these old classic motels could be made into something unique and b.side hit the mark! We parked right outside our door makiing it easy to unload. The room was decorated in a fun and unique way. We really appreciated the amenities from refrigerator to candies in a jar. The owners really gave thought and attention to detail. The bed was extremely comfortable...

"1) The AC wall unit kept going into a default error message that did not keep the room cool so I had to wake up several times a night to turn it back on, and when I asked the maintenance, he said just to unplug it and plug it back in which helped only 50% of the time. 2) The front desk staff needs to be better trained to answer the guest questions, but when the manager showed up, she helped with my request and question."
