"5 weeks in Thailand in various islands and this was by far my favourite resort in terms of room comfort, beach and swimming, tons of beach chairs and a wonderful pool - we loved how close everything was at the resort to access. The onsite restaurant and coffee/dessert cafe was excellent with great choices. walking to the main road to access other restaurants took only about 5 minutes + a 7/11 was just up the main road as well. The breakfast at Long beach chalet was OUTSTANDING. By far the best of any we’d had over our 5-week trip in Thailand. Stay here - you will not be disappointed."

"Our family of 4 came in May 2026, 2 girls age 6 and 9. The hotel was nice and the pool and excellent proximity to the beach was great! Our girls enjoyed the balcony pool. Nice restaurant (we only really ate one restaurant few minutes from the hotel on the beach called somewhere else was yummy, very affordable and also great view of the beach). We’d definitely stay at Lanta Sand again. "

"Pros: very walkable to public beach. Air conditioning and wifi were both excellent. Cons: toilet didn’t work from day 1 and never fixed it by leaving on day 4. Elderly lady was very rude in limited interactions. Side note: no reflection on the hotel but it’s located very close to mosque that did a call to prayer on a speakerphone/megaphone between 4:30 and 5. Not ideal for lite sleepers as it’s clear as day in your room. "
