"The room looks recently renovated and was clean. This is a motel-style hotel (entering from the outside). Our room was facing the back (beach-side) so it was quiet, only the sound of the waves! We spent 6 nights there and it was secluded with a few places to eat nearby and great views on Old San Juan on the other side of the Bay. However, one absolutely needs a car and it was no problem parking at the hotel. The staff was responsive and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Friendly staff and great location right in the heart of Old San Juan. Despite what Hotels.com says you dont need to wait for an email from the hotel or arrange anything with them ahead of time. The front task is staffed 24/7 and they were wonderful. This place is about a 10 minute walk to the cruise port (although beware, there are 2 cruise ports in San Juan). Would definitely stay here again. Great value!"

"Casa Lucienne is a very cool place! It’s right in the middle of Old San Juan and is convenient to all of the restaurants, bars, and shops, not to mention El Morro and other historical sites. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are comfortable. The rooms have a very cool charm, and there are great extras like a small indoor pool and rooftop terrace to hang out on. The location is very busy, so it’s not great for parking, but it’s ideal if you want to be right in the middle of it...

"We ended up staying here due to a bad VRBO Host experience. Hotel El Convent was AMAZING! The hotel is absolutely timeless and beautiful. The ONLY thing I would recommend for guests not to have is a car. If you decide to stay here, please do it, but don't rent a car. Either Uber or scooter around. Otherwise, great experience, customer service, cleaniness, attention, hospitality.....GREAT!!!!!"
