Top Ballyclare Hotel Reviews
Hilton Belfast hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Well located - the staff was lovely and very friendly. I had the chance to have a room with a lovely view as well. Would definitely recommend it"
Leonardo Hotel Belfast
8/10 Good
"They have a fairly good breakfast with a good amount of options, but it was inconsistent as to what was available from one day to the next. The breakfast area was clearly understaffed as they could not keep up with clearing and cleaning tables, nor keeping the buffet adequately stocked. The room was somewhat clean, stains on the carpet made it appear otherwise. This was a good value and well located for visiting the area."
Travelodge Belfast Central
10/10 Excellent
"The location is perfect, with lots of really good pubs, cafés and restaurants nearby. Our favourite pubs there are Fibber Magee (Robinson's), which does a good selection of drinks & a number of food dishes, and The Crown, lots of drinks choices and a full food menu, featuring pies, burgers, traditional mains, including Irish Stew (of course!) and sausage & champ. Restaurants we liked are Pizza Express (their pizzas are great no matter what location you are in) and The Shed, literally next door to Travelodge, for something a bit more special. Our favourite café is Maggie May's, which we enjoyed for breakfast (loads of good choices and super friendly staff). Shops were within very easy walking distance too. Transport links are really good (both trains & buses, run by Translink). There is also the hop on hop off bus tour which is really useful for getting to know where various places and venues, such as the Titanic Experience, Crumlin Road prison, the Peace Wall, Ulster Museum and Botanic Gardens (all well worth a visit) are. Trains will get you further afield to lots of different towns and cities in Northern Ireland and even beyond to ROI. The station staff are happy to recommend interesting places to go, as are staff & locals in pubs, cafés and restaurants. Tourist Information is also good for local info. They even have luggage storage at very reasonable prices."
Moxy Belfast City
10/10 Excellent
"Really good area we stayed for the weekend and was Stan fifteen minutes walk to the cathedral quarter bars and half an hour to the titanic exhibition. Funky new hotel with bar and food downstairs good all round"
