"We live nearby and this is our second “Staycation” for an overnight. We were really impressed on our first stay. This time, there was a lot of energy as the hotel was packed with World Cup fans excited to attend the Portugal/Colombia match in Miami or watch it at the hotel. As such, it was much busier than previous which led to some difficulty finding chairs around the pool and getting the attention of waitstaff. Our room was nice-although it could use a little love. "Booked this hotel on Expedia when I got there. Came to know that the hotel is just booked not charged I specially specified 6 people but the room was very small and the hotel eas not cooperating to give extra bed or do something the tv in lounge was not working the hotel lobby staff was very helpful but it was not in there hand"

"I booked the National hotel for a late week break in Miami Beach with the intention of seeing a show the 2nd night. We had a Cabana room, which has a balcony overlooking the pool. This is an amazing property. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the pool is fantastic, and we ended up canceling our evening plans the 2nd night so we could enjoy more time at the hotel. It's a perfect hotel to relax, enjoy and shut out the world for a moment. 100% would stay here again."

"The room was nice but did have a musty smell. Nothing near by but close to the cruise port. They have breakfast on property but it cost $125 for 3 of us for buffet which was not worth it."
