"We stayed here 30 years ago and it was great to be back in beautiful Paarl. New owners are very friendly and so helpful... their little doggie snowy so sweet. Its a listed building and having breakfast in the old part of the house is so cool. That is a true South African breakfast. Delicious. Never tasted a eggs bennie that good."

"I am a repeat visitor to Pontac. A lovely place to spend time at, especially outside on the stoep. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Paarl. Definite value for money. The only area for improvement would be breakfast, it is okay, but could use some attention."

"Ein wunderschönes, liebevoll gepflegtes Weingut mit großzügigen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Der Ausblick auf die Weinberge ist grandios. Das Restaurant bietet eine kleine feine Karte und wir haben sehr gut gegessen. Das Weintasting hatten wir leider verpasst, da wir nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise waren. "We had a wonderful 3 nights stay. Beautiful surroundings and a lovely setting at the restaurant to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Our room was large with a lovely bathroom. It was quiet and cool so barely needed to use the AC. But what made it such a wonderful place to stay were the amazing staff, who were so friendly and helpful they truly made our stay very special. Can’t wait to stay again. "
