"The Grande Roche is a wonderful place with such kind, happy and thoughtful management and staff. In particular thank you to Marchello, Denai and Veena for making my stay so comfortable - you are wonderful people! The whole vibe is very chilled and friendly. The views out onto the grounds and vineyards are stunning - the landscaping and gardening give a sense of luxury and connection with nature. I really loved the sense of calm. "Lovely high spec cottage. Clean and new interiors. A romantic stay for couples but we had a three year old! Peaceful and quiet location. A short drive to shops and not too far to some good vineyards. Breakfast was quite nice but would be good to have a helpful option. My daughter loved the trampoline and small playground. Felt like a safe location. I’d recommend taking the hotel up on their offer of starting the hot tub for arrival as I couldn’t manage it!"

"We stayed 3 nights in the Coach house recently. The rooms are fabulous and the views are stunning. Definitely 5* rooms however the whole place is let down by a few service issues. - We had no wifi in our rooms for the entire stay. When we enquired about this on day 1 we were told that it sometimes doesn't work and no effort was made to fix the problem. - Our plunge pool was filthy. There was sand in the bottom and when we looked at the neighbouring room's pool, ours was definitely green....

"Een prachtige villa in de middle of nowhere. Just what we needed! Wild Olive House is self-service, maar perfect als je met een kleine op vakantie bent. Contact met Vicky van de Farmhouse Guest rooms ging prima. Soms een tikkie stug, maar als je wat langer praat ook gewoon heel vriendelijk. We hebben een Game Drive met Esmeralda gedaan en dat was fantastisch. Heel vriendelijk en een prachtige drive, veel informatie en ondanks dat ze niet de Big Five hebben, voelde het soms zelfs meer bijzonder...

"Chantal and Charmaine were wonderful, warm and attentive to my every need. My room had a private balcony, walking steps to a glistening pool and lovely garden. My king bed was super comfortable and the hot cooked breakfast to order was such a comforting touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!"

"I am a repeat visitor to Pontac. A lovely place to spend time at, especially outside on the stoep. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Paarl. Definite value for money. The only area for improvement would be breakfast, it is okay, but could use some attention."
