Isla Bella Beach Resort & Spa

"First impressions are HUGE and Isla Bella had us hooked from the moment we reached the front gate. Even the lobby had immaculate views of the ocean. Anh checked us in and was so friendly and helpful. We were given glasses of champagne while she assisted us. Parking was convenient. We always found a spot near the building we were staying. In addition to stairs, there are elevators which were great for getting luggage to and from the room. We stayed on the 3rd floor which had stunning views and more privacy than the first floor walk-out rooms. Bathroom was CLEAN and nicely appointed. The furniture and decor gave beachy without being tacky. Beach Bar cocktails were delicious. We checked out 3 of the pools which were all well maintained and beautifully done. The Marketplace was convenient for quick bites and souvenirs. Prices there were much better than we anticipated. All in all, Marathon was the perfect home base for us during our road trip from Miami and week long exploration of the Keys. We would definitely stay at Isla Bella again!"

"The room was clean and smelled fresh. The pool area was just as beautiful as it looked in the pictures. The beach area was wonderful with many options for relaxation. The staff was very friendly and welcoming."

"The place was perfect and staff were amazing. The room was clean and properly stocked. Since it was the off-season the A/C was put on timers and would turn off every hour, which was the only complaint I have because I had to keep turning it back on all night, every night. The pool and private beach made up for it. Beach was loaded with seaweed (Sargassum) but evey beach had it and I don't fault the hotel because there are regulations they have to follow and are limited to what they can do. Being the off-season they also had a small staff, which is understandable. It was nice to stay in a family-run hotel versus a corporate, white and grey, lifeless property. The rooms were vibrant and welcoming rather than decorated like an office building."
