Decent Mini golf and restaurant/bar on property and free kayaking across the bay full of nature like a nursery for all the upcoming sealife families, superior water quality and views. Just the right compromise between price, location, amenities, room. The "full" kitchen was great but could have used more lighting. A good amount of space in the suite. We checked out the free bikes to ride the Old 7 Mile Bridge to Pigeon Key for snorkeling. The bikes were dated but acceptable (esp. for free). Although we could have spent more (or less) money, Pip's was a good choice.

My husband and I started coming here about a year and a half ago. We absolutely love it here. You are in the middle part of the keys so you can get to upper and lower keys and still have plenty of time to explore for the day. We have stayed at a couple other places however they do not compare to Captain Pips. It is very quiet there in the evenings with amazing views on the water. The maid Kira is so welcoming. Always has a smile on her face. Anything you need from towels to clean sheets she is happy to help! Staff is friendly, property is well maintained. I won’t stay anywhere else when going there. Prices are great too!!Great place to stay.

We had the best time on our stay. The room was larger than expected with a full size fridge and kitchen. We had a great view from the great white room and our boat rental was right out back. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Awesome Staff..Anna and Co, Awesome facility, Big rooms, Great views, Great restaurant next door. Many things to do such as Kayaking, Fishing, Watching the sunset to name a few. This place exceeded our expectations! My husband and I stayed at the Hammerhead, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The views from both our bedroom and dining area were absolutely amazing, creating such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and perfect for a getaway. The ladies at the front desk were also wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed kayaking, and although we didn’t have enough time to ride the bikes, we will definitely do that next time! The location was perfect and offered plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy outdoor activities. We are already planning to come back next year with our family to do some fishing and enjoy even more of what Marathon has to offer. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a visit to Marathon, Florida. We had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to return!

Stayed in an Aqua Lodge and it was so much fun! The only downside was the WiFi was not good there! Everything else was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible! We had 5 people we fit well! Highly encourage using them for snorkeling and other adventures as well!

Captain Pips was great for my family’s needs while in the keys. Our room backed up to the dock which my kids loved fishing from. It was easy to find, parking wasn’t an issue and the room was clean.The front desk staff was kind and helpful!

Really quaint old fashioned dock side setting and accomodation. Felt very relaxed and comfortable. Great bed and beautiful view. Helpful staff and friendly- good recommendations for food. Only initial disappointment is there is building work currently happening out the front of the property which we weren’t aware of but no disturbance from it.
