I honestly don't understand the great reviews for this place. It was spacious and some of the furniture seemed new, but in general the place is in much need of an update. The kitchenette in particular felt outright dirty. Weirdly, access to the pool from the patio is blocked by bamboo. Unfortunately this place should not have 'luxury' in its name and should not charge a premium price. All in all our stay was alright, but the value for money was unfortunately much too low.

Very nice property with the right location. Everything you need to see in Bacalar is 5 to 6 minutes drive. Very centric, clean and Jose was very helpful.

It was great! Communication upon your arrival, great room and with a pool! The only thing is you have to cross the highway in order to get to the lagoon, besides that everything was perfect.

The apartment was very clean and attractive. There was a problem getting into the building as no one answered the door even though I came when I told them I’d be there. I had to wait in the heat outside for about 10 minutes and their voicemail wasn’t set up to receive messages. The pool was turning green on our first day, then became more green on the second. They did clean it on the third day, however. Since there’s a kitchen in the unit, there should be a proper cutting board. There were knives, spatulas and other things to make breakfast but it was weird not having something to cut fruits and vegetables on. Also, having salt would be nice. But overall, it was fine and the bed was comfy and water pressure was good.

No reception, Shampoo and soap poor. Take your own. Far from town, dark. No vip perks like the two beverage. Room was clean but varanda was dirty. Plus very noisy. Men drinking outside.

This small aparthotel is located a bit removed from the lagoon, so a car is probably a good idea, also to move around the area, which has more to offer than the lagoon. The property is very comfortable, with large rooms with kitchen facilities and balcony. It was cleaned every day to perfection. It has a small pool and outdoor area and safe parking. What I loved about this hotel was the attentive and reliable personnel - the gentlemen looking after it were lovely. The guests were mixed: families and a group of construction workers who were friendly and very respectful. I booked this place after one of the lagoon-shore hotels cancelled my booking on spot (dubious "adults only" policy) on a Saturday night during the high season. Azure immediately welcomed me and my son, and made us feel welcome and safe. I amply recommend this place!

The facilities of the Family Suite were very well designed and equipped. However, the common areas such as the stairs and hallways require cleaning. The main issue during both nights was the noise. With no security staff on duty, there was no rest at all—parties went on until 3 AM. The issue was reported, but no proper follow-up was given. There were speakers, mariachi music, and people in the pool outside the allowed hours. Due to this lack of control, I will not be returning.

Hébergement en apparence haut de gamme. Mais on quand s’attarde aux détails, ce n’est pas le cas. La porte de notre chambre donnait sur un stationnement de minibus avec un va et vient constant et les chauffeurs qui parlent fort constamment, un des chauffeurs a même ouvert notre fenêtre de l’extérieur croyant qu’il s’agissait de la chambre d’un autre chauffeur, ce qui a fait peur à ma famille. Une foire avait également lieu juste derrière l’hôtel, faisant en sorte que nous entendions de la musique et des cris jusqu’à tard dans la nuit, nous empêchant ainsi de dormir. Pour couronner le tout, nos voisins bougeaient des meubles et faisaient du bruit au milieu de la nuit et parlaient très fort au seuil de notre porte dès les premières heures du jour. C’était extrêmement dérangeant. Le wifi est également très instable et il n’y a que quelques couverts qui sont en nombre insuffisants pour une famille. Bref, un séjour médiocre.
