Amazing sunrise views

This hotel is located outside the busy center area and is super quiet. You hear the birds instead of the cars. The main roads offers side walks all along which you can walk for as long as you want even to centro. The view to the 7 colors lagoon is amazing from the infinity pool. The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. Our room had issue with the toilet and they fix it right away. Super friendly staff

The cabanas are a sub-standard option. - No key for the cabana rooms. This is a huge issue to me that was not expected. I asked for the key and was told these rooms do not have a key. The night clerk pointed at a security camera that covers the cabanas area and said there is no need to lock as they have security. I could not leave anything in the room as a result. I had a car rental so that was not a massive problem. If I was a backpacker it would have been. There are lock - A-frame style with a thatched roof which is fine. The walls made of vertical sticks with 1+ cm gaps in between is not. They do have the interior lined with mosquito nets. Overall just very shoddy builds and shabby condition. Rooms are small - just room for the bed and two small side tables. Ok if you are solo and/or packing light. The patios are cute - two chairs and a table. However, they face the other villas and are about 3-4 meters apart so it suits extroverts better possibly. - Sheets were clean but there was loose dirt/lint/dust on the sheets, pillowcases and on the blanket. - Washroom facilities are atrocious. The toilets do not have seats - nasty anywhere in the world! - Bathrooms were not overly clean; bring sandals if you use the shower - I chose to swim in the lagoon instead. How bad? I was exhausted the first of the two nights I stayed there but skipped the shower and using the toilet. Then packed up in the morning and chose to sleep in the car for the 2nd night instead!!!

Potential. But not there yet

Neat enough place but the little cabins could be a little nicer. The deluxe didnt have anything deluxe about it. And no toilet seats? I expect that in a $20 room but not at this price Breakfast was to be included and served between 8am and 10am. Sat there from 8:30-9:15. Didnt see anyone (maybe in a chicken coup waiting for eggs??). I just packed up and left

Las cabañas son pequeñas pero están muy bien. Es verdad que son ruidosas. El personal es muy amable y te atienden genial. No tienen desayuno y por la mañana en los alrededores estaba casi todo cerrado.

Muy bonito el hotel, tranquilo, las cabañas son cómodas pero se escucha todo, de adentro hacia afuera y de afuera hacia adentro, el chico encargado se ponía a soplar hojas con una máquina a las 5:30/6 am o a barrer, deberían de considerar que hay personas durmiendo y que el más mínimo ruido se escucha

En primera, la ubicación en el mapa no es la correcta es otra muy retirada de todo, el servicio al cliente muy hostil por parte de las señoritas que nos atendieron durante la estancia, la limpieza nos quedo a deber mucho, la puerta se descompuso pero si la arreglaron, la habitación olía mucho a drenaje y humedad, no tienen surtido ni para vendernos alguna bebida (refrescos) comprendo que Bacalar es un pueblo pequeño, pero en un hotel esperas tener ciertas comodidades, tiene mucho potencial el hotel, pero primero atiendan sus áreas a mejorar

Es un lugar pequeño pero muy cómodo y accesible, con alberca, las habitaciones son bastante amplias al igual que el baño, solo la puerta de nuestra habitación llamada Mahahual, era muy difícil de abrir y cerrar ☺️ Tiene una muy buena ubicación, cuenta con restaurantes cerca y una tienda, también varios club de playa a los que puedes ingresar pagando una cierta cantidad o trasladarte al club de playa al que tienes acceso por hospedarte en Azul María.
