"Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges...

"Super friendly staff who were easy to converse with, the inn was well maintained with vintage roots and a splash off modern. The food was excellent. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they don’t. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!"

"The room was so beautiful, the design and interior was well thought and intentional. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed at. My girlfriend and I loved it so much! It was very clean, staff were very helpful and pleasant. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Margate. The location was perfect as well. Such a lovely place, I didn’t want to leave. The pantry with different snacks was such a cute touch! "

"Stayed for 2 nights on Sat & Sun 6-8th December. We were greeted with a very busy pub but extremely attentive staff who could not do enough to make us feel welcome. The room was well furnished with a retro vibe. If I am being over critical, I would say that the carpet in the room could do with a clean and the bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade. The host goes beyond what I would expect from this type of hotel and was particularly to an older lady who needed special care. I particularly appreciated the gluten free options for breakfast, which included sausages. "
