Excellent Stay in Margate

Had an excellent stay at the Old Town House. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Margate as you are a short 15min walk away from the train station and right in the old town centre next to great coffee shops, restaurants and more. The room was beautiful and clean, bed super comfortable and overall a lovely stay for the price. Really easy check in system too with keyless access. Thank you Anne & Mark

Luxurious room in the center of Margate

Extremely well-appointed room, beautifully decorated and meticulously kept, it was extremely comfortable, beautiful and quiet. Easy check-in, great communication. Lovely location very close to everything and everywhere I needed to be in this quaint seaside town. I’d definitely stay here again!

Loved our stay. In the center of everything, easy walking distance to everything around. Lovey town and place was clean. I had trouble getting in but was immediately helped by the owner. Didn’t stay long so they left extra teas/coffee outside of door for the next day. Great place to stay!

There is no better location in Margate. We loved being right by the market and restaurants. The room was lovely and very comfortable and quiet. The towels and shower are luxurious. The landlords were extremely helpful and responsive. We will definitely be staying here again!

Amazing stay in a very central location clean and very quiet. The toiletries were very strong fennel/aniseed flavour which you either love or hate if you hate it take your own is my advice. Other than that perfect stay xx

Great place to stay in Margate

I’d definitely recommend the hotel. The keyless entry didn’t initially work, but the communication with the owner was quick and a new code was sent within minutes. The rooms were lovely and there was a good variety of teas and coffees available. I was worried not having check in would mean that the owners weren’t around, but they did help us figure out how to turn the air conditioning off. The location was fantastic and it wasn’t noisy in the rooms.

Thanks to Anne and Mark for a wonderful stay. We had a lovely welcome from Anne who got in touch before we arrived. We had a gorgeous room with stunning decor and modern facilities. The shower room was stunning, the AC was very effective, the bed was super comfy and there was a Nespresso machine 😃 The location is very central in the charming old town with quirky shops and bars plus close to the expansive beach for entertainment and glorious sunsets. Couldn't fault it. Hope to return. Thanks again!!

Stayed one night. Check in and out is quick via the FLEXIPASS app. The staff I met was extremely nice and helpful. The room had air conditioning and was refreshingly cool when I arrived from the summer heat. The bed was very soft and the room was very clean. The only issue I had was my phone signal in my room wasn’t great but once I connected to their WiFi it wasn’t a problem anymore. Do note that the hotel is between 2 pubs and very close to the centre of town.

For context we are a couple who stayed for one night. Where do I begin! At this point we hadn’t even checked in and Anne was accommodating and responsive. She was helping us with questions at any point from recommendations to check in. Already off to a good start! Once we had entered the building we were both so pleased - it is immaculate and beautifully decorated. we booked the superior room on 2nd floor (room 5) and we were even more impressed! A very clean large room with a sofa, natural light with all amenities included and even a fully equipped coffee/tea station. The bed was beyond comfortable and I had one of the best nights sleep in a long time. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous with amenities from Hæckles (an independent local apothecary brand) and they smelt so lovely. The hotel is bang in the centre, a short walk away from all the hot spots which made exploring super easy. Despite the location it wasn’t loud in the evening at all, hence the great sleep! I can’t thank Anne enough for her help and hospitality and also want to praise this hotel for exceeding our expectations massively - 100% would return and recommend to anyone visiting!
