"I loved my short time at Cyashitsu Ryokan. The staff were all so sweet and helpful. The rooms are set up in traditional style, so be aware the doorways and ceiling are low. It's a short walk from Senso-ji and Asakusa Station. Asakusa is an interesting area; full of covered markets and great food. The ryokan even has a big book or restaurant and entertainment recommendations. Breakfast was Japanese style and delicious. The private bath is great if you're shy like me. Above the privacy curtain, you can see Tokyo Skytree alight at night. I will definitely be staying at Cyashitsu the next time I'm in Tokyo. "

"Really enjoyed our stay here, the breakfast buffet is additional but delicious and convenient when most places don’t open until 11am. Quick walk to Senso-ji temple and street food stalls. Ichiran and Don Quijote and Uniqlo nearby! The only complaint is that it is not next to a train line that can be a little walk. "

"Tobu is perfectly located for all amenities in Asakusa. We booked a corner room which gave us so much light. Rooms were incredibly spacious for Japan. Staff were helpful. Closed windows kept out street noise. Fully automated check in with an AI host! (Still lots of staff for assistance). "

"Very clean, very convenient, lots of dining options, modern, good sized bathroom, shower pressure was excellent! The roof top terrace was a good addition. The free rental bikes was very nice too!"
