"Gorgeous room. Lovely shower and decor. Stunning back garden and restaurant/pub attached. Excellent service, food & drinks. Very convenient for short stay and easy commute to Heathrow airport. Spacious wardrobe in the room. "

"Just had two nights. We got the last remaking room which was described as “cosy” which it was. Very well appointed, all the food we had at breakfast on two mornings, and dinner one evening was very good. Although busy service was excellent, and all the staff without fail were a credit to the hotel. Very, very pleased with the whole visit, and would not hesitate to stay again."

"Excellent from start to finish. The room was very clean and felt comfortable, with a delightful view over the garden. We had a couple of drinks in the bar which was nice and relaxing. We later had dinner in the restaurant, with a nice selection of dishes and again a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast was lovely, the wife had boiled eggs and soldiers, they were perfect with nice runny yokes. My full English breakfast was excellent with a perfectly cooked poached egg. "A wonderful welcome and our room was lovely. The dining area was busy with both residents and local people. The menu offered a good variety and food arrived very hot and well presented. We wouldn’t hesitate to return but would advise that the age of the building means that stairs are very steep and the floors are uneven. "

"Absolutely superb place to stay. I stayed for 3 nights as part of a business trip and was impressed mostly by the staff and service. The room was an excellent size and well appointed with high quality decor and en-suite, and a personalised welcome message. Parking was good although a little tight in places. The only slightly negative point is the road noise from around 6am, being in a main road, and with a room at the front of the property. Otherwise superb and will absolutely stay...
