The staff at reception were welcoming and helpful, especially when we had no towels in the room, they made sure the towels were in the room ready upon our return. "Great location just 2 bus stops from T5 with the bus stop next to the hotel (bus number 423). Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are ideal for an airport "layover" and are clean and comfortable. The hotel has a good bar, great breakfast and evening meals with viewing directly onto the airport runway with great closeup views of aircraft arrivals and departures. If there was one downside it would be the poor shower water pressure which was manageable but is low. I always stay at the Thistle when passing through London and this visit didn't disappoint."
