"First time to Grasmere and had a lovely time. The room was luxurious and welcoming, would have been happy to stay in the whole time! Random huge bottle of gin was definitely unusual. Restaurant was great, really couldn’t fault anything about the hotel or the experience."

However the bed was a bit uncomfortable and lumpy and the sauna was not working and steam room was only partially working. Pool and jacuzzi all good. Very nice seating areas around bar and would recommend"

Breakfast was nice but expected a little more to warrant the price. Beautiful views from the hotel and plenty walks from the hotel as a starting point. Dog friendly too "
