"Location was perfect right in the centre of historic Hawkshead ask about car parking at the primary school. On Suite was very small, the vanity didn’t drain properly, the sensor light is a pain when you don’t want to wake-up your partner at night! A common problem with all accommodation in the Uk is that only having a Duvet on the bed to hot to use and worst no top sheet, Duvets are to hot in winter because of the heating and to hot in summer with no air conditioning and with no ventilation...

"Beautiful property out of the bustle of nearby Ambleside or Hawkshead. Lovingly cared for and staffed. Gorgeous views, delicious breakfast and dinner, and a hot shower. Hikes out the door. 5 minute walk to Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top. We hope to return."

"Moss Grove is a fantastic B&B in the heart of Grasmere. The staff were wonderful—their “we’ll do everything we can for our guests” attitude really made our stay. The hot tub photos seen during booking however, gave us the wrong impression. It’s exclusively for the suite, with no access for other guests. "Amazing place to stay. First time staying in a B&B having favoured hotel stays in the past and what a nice change in made. From the warm and friendly welcome and throughout the 3 day stay everything met or exceeded our expectations. The room (Burley) at the top of the house was amazing with a roll top bath in the room, the most comfortable of bed and just the ambiance of the house made the experience even better. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts were super friendly too."

"Solo traveler, had a lovely stay! Location great, close to the station and bus stop. Amazing breakfast included and great room. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Windermere"

"Great communication with host and location excellent."

"โรงแรมบรรยากาศเป็นแบบบ้านพักของเราเอง อาหารเช้าแบบฝรั่งอร่อยมีให้ครบถ้วนทุกอย่างไม่ว่าจะเป็นนมโยเกริต น้ำผลไม้ อาหารร้อนสั่งเหมือนเราอยู่บ้าน"

"Compact clean room with small modern separate shower room. Good for one night stay but too small for our two night stay. Bed was wonderfully comfortable with crisp luxurious bedding. Breakfast was good (note this is a chargeable service) and host was welcoming."

"Lovely property by the river with a spacious room with a balcony overlooking it. Super comfy bed. Modern bathroom with a nice tub, underfloor heating and great L’occitane products. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were super friendly. Parking was available at the property free of charge which was definitely a plus."
