Excellent stay!

We had a brilliant stay at Bowness Guest House, our hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, modern and clean, with a comfortable bed! I would highly reccommend this guest house, we will definitely be back!

A beautiful little room tucked away at the top of bowness, nice and quiet and perfectly situated to get into town. Michelle was wonderful making sure everything was ok with our stay and our dog was very well catered for with treats, bowls and a bed provided!

Great Welcome & Close To All Amenities

We had such a lovely welcome from the host who showed us to our room and gave tips for dinner and drinks nearby. The room was perfect for our needs, the location was ideal and we left wishing we had booked for longer. Will definitely be back!

Excellent - Well recommended

Newly refurbished dog friendly room, with powerful shower and allocated parking space. The owners are really friendly and the guest house is well situated at the top of the hill in Bowness.

Bowness on Windermere

Close to the Dales Way endpoint, pubs and restaurants. A real haven, extremely comfortable bed and room. Much needed after our final leg of the Dales Way. Lovely, friendly hosts.

Our stay at the guest house was very good - Michelle was very helpful and even lent us a brolly to cope with the lovely lakes weather ☺️ The room was very clean and more than ample for our one night stay Would highly recommended a stay here The only disappointment was there isn’t any parking as stated on hotels.com site - just street parking wherever you can find a space
