"It was my fault I booked the wrong day. I booked Saturday to Sunday not Friday to Saturday it was my fault but I had no help at all they said you booked it though Expedia we have nothing to do with that. I said fine can I book something else for the night they said they were fully booked for the night. As I was leaving I heard a new guest ask if there was a room available, sure enough they had one for him. Not sure why I couldn’t get that room? "

"Our room was at the far end of the hallway on the ground floor, away from the casino (and the not so subtle smell of old, burnt cigarettes), so it was nice and quiet for my early to bed early to rise travel companion and I. Everything was nice and clean, the service staff pleasant and helpful. Only two minor issues were (1) lighting was somewhat inadequate and (2) no fan in the bathroom. On-site meal choices (the steakhouse and Denny’s under the same roof) made for really convenient meal options for our Death Valley experience."

"Great location! Room was a bit dated for the price and you could hear people in other rooms. Kings Saloon restaurant and buffet breakfast were great."

"The hotel has very quirky design style, some may call it creepy ( my kids did) but others may like the western vibe. It was well priced and well placed for our trips into Death Valley National Park. The walls were a bit thin so bring ear plugs. Also, they did not accommodate our request for our 2 rooms to be in the same floor - which wasn't a big deal because our kids were older."

"Everything was superb except one of the EV Charger parking stalls was fenced off because a few stones on the landscape wall were damaged. There was no reason to close the entire parking stall. There was also a non-EV BMW 3 series parked in the only other charging stall, blocking access to it. When people drive hundreds of miles into Death Valley to an expensive Inn with two chargers, they shoukd be able to expect the management to ensure both are available to actual EV cars."
