"Walkable to downtown area which is a big plus since traffic and parking in the area are always bumper to bumper and pricey, respectively. "The hotel is off the main road through Gatlinburg. The surrounding area was remarkably quiet, despite the ongoing construction across the street. We walked to and from the hotel to the Aquarium, about 15 minutes. The park was easily accessible from this hotel. The hotel was very clean, the staff was courteous, and breakfast was the typical hotel fare. I would definitely stay here again."

"The staff is the only reason I didn’t rate this hotel lower. We only interacted with the two on the evening shift and they were GREAT! Very kind and informative and accommodating. The beds were AWFUL!!!! very used and worn down, next to no actual bedding. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and sausage links, all ice cold. The only warm food was the waffles you make yourself. Probably wouldn’t stay here again if I had to choose but overall wasn’t a terrible stay."

"This hotel was beautiful. The entire staff was helpful and nice, from the valet to the front desk, to the maintenance. They all greeted us throughout our stay even though we didn't use the valet or maintenance. We didn't see a use for the valet because parking was easy. But that keeps your car in the front of the hotel if you plan to leave a lot. The hotel is in such a great location we walked everywhere. "Right on the strip close, very close to everything if you hate walking. We arrived like 2 or 3 hours before check in and they let us use the parking lot early and even got the room like 30 minutes or a hour after we arrived. "Elevator out. Pool was closed. Room smelled musty and moldy. Carpet was gross (musty/moldy). There was no hot water. Visible mold throughout. No real lighting in the room. Breakfast was a continental with the option to microwave pancakes. They did give us another room after they saw all the issues. The new room was much better but still had visible mold and the toilet did not work well (running). This place needs to be closed for a full renovation."

There was only 1 front desk person we had to wait about 40 mins at the front desk just to check in it was very hot and humid and when you called the number "for assistance" it just calls the front desk phone number so that was pointless. Breakfast was good again was like 1 worker doing everything but she kept up with it."
