"Dianne went out of her way to be helpful at all steps of our stay. Great parking facilities, great shower, comfy bed. Everything needed was provided and well thought through. We were able to arrange to collect the keys early as we were due at a wedding and Dianne went out of her way to help us arrange a taxi booking to and from the venue nearby.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful."

"Honestly one of the honest places we have stayed at. Really central and the property is beautiful. Sue is such an amazing hostess and her scrambled eggs are legendary. We enjoyed it that much that we have already bookend another stay."

"Albany House is utterly faultless! Everything you could want in a B & B; lovely rooms, great shower/en-suite and a scrummy breakfast menu/choices!
Susan is a fantastic host, and truly made my first time in Penrith/working Kendal Calling an absolute joy! 😁

"The double room was cosy but fine for a one night stay. The dinner was superb with a wonderful choice of all courses. Breakfast was excellent too. Staff were friendly and helpful.
A great place to stay"
