Really nice hotel with a pleasant roof terrace and great staff; the free coffee all day was a nice touch as were the free croissants first thing. Lots of interesting food options nearby - iconic dining at: The Roxy; Bubby’s and Katz Diner were all only a short walk away. There are good transport connections via the nearby subway station and it sits in a very friendly and safe neighbourhood on the border between Chinatown and Little Italy.

Lovely small boutique hotel in a great location downtown away from the main hustle and bustle. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and quiet with a great shower and complimentary toiletries. Tea and coffee facilities in the lounge 24/7 plus a complimentary breakfast of pastries and orange juice which was a welcome surprise. It is a little dated and could perhaps do with some modern decoration but this didn't really distract from a great stay.

We had a fantastic few days at the Westin. The staff were so helpful. It was central for everything, especially the subway. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever experienced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My daughter and I had a trip to New York for our big birthdays, hotel was very central close to port authority, walking distance to time square and many other areas. Hotel staff made our visit special for us and are very helpful , friendly , professional and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would avoid 9th Avenue at night time as it didn’t feel very safe .

The hotel itself is clean and centrally located for NYC tourism in Times Sq. the staff are great, breakfast included was a good start to each day and the price we got through Expedia was a bargain. Be warned that there is a migrant shelter directly opposite the hotel which can be intimidating as large groups hang around outside - the hotel have a regular security guard and the NYPD are outside the shelter all the time.

Cool hotel near Grand Central Station. Nice area - not too busy, near restaurants, transport and shops. Hotel is boutique style - not big rooms but that’s NYC. Staff are lovely - Judy and the team. Water was replenished daily although note no coffee maker in room. Close to all night deli and loads of places for breakfast. It was a really good choice and would choose it again.

There is absolutely nothing bad to say about Kixby. The location is as safe as it gets,easy walking distance from Penn Station if you come in by LIRR/Airtrain from JFK(30 mins hassle free way to get into Manhattan) and the subway is 50 yards from the front door. There are the best selection of bars,restaurants and eateries within minutes of the hotel as well as Maddison Square Garden and the Empire State Building. Excellent location just four minutes’ walk from 9/11 Memorial Pools and Museum. Warm welcome from staff. Clean and comfortable room. Excellent bar area in the evening and efficient good value breakfast deli.

I stayed in several hotels over my stay in New York but this is the one I enjoyed the most. The location, close to Korea Town, was vibrant and very central. A tall building, it provides lovely views on its upper floors. There's a bar at the top and the hotel itself had an upbeat, sociable vibe even though my stay was near the start of a week. Great location and great hotel to act as a base for New York.

It was just as I expected. It was not noisy at all (being so close to Times Square). I booked a room with a bunk bed and it was as small as shown in the pictures so definitely as expected. Stay was comfortable.

Good value and location.

Great location and very quiet on the 14th floor. My only complaint is no mirror in the room. Only mirror was in the bathroom. I had to blow dry my hair whilst looking into a small vanity mirror propped up. I need a mirror to fix my hair in the morning, so do most ladies I imagine.
