"Poorly maintained and looks a tad unloved. But only seemd one staff member working there and huge place to maintain. Doors left open so anyone can walk in to the areas for patreons only. Bedroom was rundown but we were only stopp"

"Overall it was a good stay. The only issue I had was that you have to pay an overnight car parking fee and this wasn’t disclosed on Expedia. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly too."

Despite having booked a double room, check in staff helpfully reallocated us a twin accessible room on the ground floor as I’m currently on crutches. "Very poor. We paid for a deluxe triple room as it was cheaper than a standard double, when we arrived the gentleman told us we couldn’t have that room as it was under occupied and would have to have another room. The room was poor Avoid this place "

"We stayed at Salomons Estate as a group of 12 people. The grounds are lovely, and the facilities are well looked after considering the age and character of the property. The staff were really helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean, and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. Although the rooms are a little outdated, the bedding was very comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay overall."

"The room has no lock on the door; locks are only available outside the two rooms. There are many flies in the hallway, and they are appearing throughout the rooms. There is a lot of dust everywhere. In addition, although we were given the Wi‑Fi password, we’re unable to connect."

"Little hidden gem! Absolutely stunning property. As soon as you walk through the door it’s like stepping back in time. Stunning decor with lots of character and interesting items to look at around the property. Host was warm and welcoming when I arrived. I will definitely be visiting this hotel again and have already started recommending to friends."

"The hotel was OK, but for the price I felt the room was dated compared to other budget hotels. No air con in our room, light switch controlled ALL lights in the room, so no bedside reading light which is really annoying when there's two or more of you sharing a room. TV channel options seemed to be hit and miss. Other than that breakfast was good and staff were very helpful and pleasant. In terms of location it was ideal, but if I was less fussy about location there are probably better value...

"I put this for my two daughters as they were staying away near Maidstone in Kent, we use these hotels all over the country and can say that this one did not let them down it was as good as all the others and my two daughters had a great stay"
