"All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a decent variety of hot foods (eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, mushroom etc) and cold foods such as yoghurt, fresh cut fruits, breads/toast and mini pancakes. Also a good variety of hot and cold drinks. We had a ground level room with 2 floors - double bed and a sofa bed, and one bathroom. Toiletries, towels and a hair dryer were provided. Iron has to be requested from reception and returned after use. Plenty of outlets for charging electronics. Only downside, or challenge I would say, is the actual location of the hotel is if you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage. To access the hotel taxi/uber will drop you on the Main Street and you have to walk down a steep cobbled road (which is a bit hidden away). It’s all part of the historic nature of the area, but a challenge when walking up if you are not used to hills or have mobility issues. There is no other way to access the hotel. No complaints about the hotel itself - we had a nice stay. There are some nice small restaurants in the area with a variety of dishes but some locals warned us to steer clear of those that try to flag you down from outside to come and eat - the quality and cleanliness of the food was the issue. "

"Beautiful hotel, traditional but modern decor. The most basic room was big enough for us (couple spending most our time out exploring the city) and comfy beds and good air conditioning made for good nights sleep. The location is ideal - so close to the centre but just back one block which meant it was right amongst all the good restaurants, sites and transport links, but also pretty quiet - no busy traffic directly outside. We will 100% come back again."

"Beautiful hotel in a secluded location. It’s located uphill with tight alleyways, so cabs/ubers may struggle to get you there but the hotel scheduled pick ups without issue. Walking to and from town was easy enough but definitely not for the mobility impaired."

"The staff here is absolutely excellent and the food, drinks, and views are all fantastic! Highly recommend, just be prepared to walk up hill back to it is the only downside"
