"Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. From the airport transfer to reception, the staff was nice and excited to facilitate my first trip to Morocco and even sat down with me to discuss must see sights. The food was amazing too! Great vibes and music. "

"Very nice and characterful property, really interesting to look around and sit in all the different areas. Location very convenient to walk around the city, and felt enough off the beaten track to take you away from the chaos. Breakfast offering was pretty good, and reception staff were really helpful and friendly. Service staff in the bar and restaurant were a bit less helpful but we tended to go out to eat instead. We stayed in the Berber suite, which was massive and very nicely decorated with a large private patio and outdoor area to relax. The only downside was the bathroom door didn't give much privacy. There were decorative holes in the top of the door as well as the door not really fitting in the doorframe, so you might be a bit uncomfortable if you're bothered by that sort of thing... a downside to the bespoke decorative doors I suppose!"

"The hotel was SPECTACULAR, nothing about this hotel was wrong. It was absolutely fantastic, clean as ever and the bed was the best bed I’ve ever slept on in my life. The bathroom was insane, the spa was also perfect and the staff were spectacular but a special shout out to Nicole from reservations and the concierges Taariq and Taylor were so good to me, I had changed my engagement plans very late and I was stressing out so much but they all completely calmed my nerves with such professionalism, they really do deserve more than a thank you from me! They are a true asset to the Taj Cape Town!"

"The staff at the reception, including the manager, were not very helpful with providing the right information. There was noticeable passive aggressiveness in their responses and a general sense of nonchalance. On the night we checked in, I was told that breakfast and dinner were included in my reservation. After dropping our bags, we went to one of the hotel restaurants for dinner since we were quite hungry. However, after the meal we were asked to pay. I mentioned that my reservation covered breakfast and dinner, but the staff explained that it only applied to a specific restaurant. This was never clearly communicated to us at reception during check-in. I immediately called reception to clarify the situation, but they said there was nothing they could do and advised me to speak with the manager the following day. The next morning, the manager was initially friendly, but after a brief conversation in their language with one of the reception staff, his attitude noticeably changed. He became passive aggressive and insisted there was nothing they could do. I explained that if the correct information had been given at check-in, the situation would not have happened. He said he would investigate, but there was no follow-up, feedback, or any form of compensation. Even at the designated restaurant, we were still required to pay for water during dinner, which made the package even more confusing. Overall, the experience was disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel."
