"Excellent place to stay.Good location for exploring the area. Local walks Hadrians wall etc.We stayed in the Hadrian suite.Very spacious with nice roll top bath.We ate in the bar on burger night. "Very clean room, staff very friendly and let us into our room early as it was ready. Room was beautiful and very spacious. Was amazing being able to choose our own room - the view was amazing! Digital key card was a great touch too. We used the pool where the staff again were friendly and pool was lovely and warm! We will definitely be back - the price was very reasonable too. "

"Staff were all very nice, room was nice and big. Clean, breakfast was nice but couldve been a bit hotter. Pillows were like slabs of concrete. But we had a lovely time and will definitely be back. Good access to town and quey side. It was not free breakfast as indicated on survey, we had to pay £12 each if booked the previous day, which we did. Party of 4 people."

"This was our second stay at Beamish, as expected the room was a good size, as we upgraded again. We always enjoy our visits to the North East and you can not fault the staff and the food at breakfast and dinner. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The main reason for our visit was to visit Beamish Open Air Museum again and on this occasion to visit the Light Trail, which is just located at the side of the Hotel. Final note on parking, there are plenty of spaces and EV charge points...

"We had the most wonderful stay at East View – it truly felt homely, comfortable, and cosy from the moment we arrived. The quaint charm of Garrigill made our trip so special, and even though the weather was harsh, we couldn’t have enjoyed it more, especially spending evenings by the fireplace. Lana was absolutely wonderful in taking care of us. She went above and beyond to organise a delicious vegan breakfast and made sure every detail of our stay was comfortable.
