"Everything was nice, the $20/day credit was fun, and the coffee and bar was nice. The most surprising thing was that the room never was serviced and there was not enough towels to go multiple days. Not sure why no one came to clean the room. "

"The double room I booked was not available upon check in. They gave me 2 queen rooms instead for the night. The next day we were to move to the double room, and had to wait an additional hour until it was ready. The staff made the entire situation more confusing than it needed to be, and was very disappointed with my stay."

"Very pleasant stay! This is such a find on the lower east side and I’d definitely stay here again. The rooms are small but well designed. The staff at the front is great and helpful. The location is super convenient. If you want a clean and safe place to stay with good access to lower manhattan, I recommend the Ridge. "

"Room was nice and clean and loved having the private terrace but there was no amenities at all in the room…no mini bar, no glassware, no snacks, no robes; why was I charged a $30 amenity fee when checking in?? For the price, I expect more. Won’t be going back…I’d rather spend more money and stay at Nine Orchard a couple blocks away. "

"Overall, the room was adequate, though smaller than expected, and the bed was not particularly comfortable. The lobby would benefit from more thorough cleaning, especially the windows and seating areas. On a positive note, the hotel offered a good selection of movie channels and is conveniently located within walking distance of popular attractions such as the Brooklyn Bridge and Canal Street."

"For the price I paid, it was a real value. I care about if there is ice, a microwave and a refrigerator - they had those (in a common area). It was clean and all staff were very pleasant and helpful. The temperature was fine in the room (the outside temps were from 40 to 90 degrees in our four-night stay.) The only issue - which didn’t bother me - is that a subway train runs above ground across the street. It’s not too loud and greatly reduces in numbers of trains during the night. I am sure that is the reason that the price is relatively low. I consider it a find and would happily stay here again."

"No coffee machine in the room, very low amenities only body wash and shampoo from a fixed bottle. This hotel used to be the Mondrian and now it is a very low cost hotel at the same prices of the Mondrian. The coffee downstairs is $8 for a machine version, there is no breakfast available on weekends only brunch starting at 9am. At that price point there are many hotels with better facilities. amenities and experience."
