"This is a chalet type hotel with rooms away from the entrance block, similar to the US motel type that can be seen in films. This is the most basic of accommodation. The bed was comfy with a television for entertainment. The bathroom was unsatisfactory but just about tolerable for the one night that I stayed there. "A fabulous place to stay. We were greeted with a very welcoming pot of coffee after a long journey. We were told of things to do, places to eat but as we were going to a wedding the day after we couldn't do any walking. The room was clean and the bed so comfortable and lovely toiletries were in the bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was incredible, better than a lot of smart hotels we have stayed in. I would highly recommend Mill Lodge."

"Parking is an issue at this hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Food at the function I attended was very good considering the numbers involved. Some training of the serving staff might help. One of them knocked my drink over, said "Sorry" and that was that. Drinks were very pricey."
