"Perfect place for family vacation. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, (almost) everything was great we did some run-in situations with communication issues with the staff and it wasn't between us it miscommunication with each other. There were a few times during our 4 day stay here that we were told one thing and ultimately that wasn't correct and we were brought back to be told something else and vise vera. It was a minor inconvenience until the last day that we almost missed our boat because nobody was on the same page. "

It's design and decor are beyond unbelievable. Even walking down the hallway to our room is an enjoyable experience. Como Point Yamu delighted us every day. "Lovely building, rooms and staff (particularly AF). Well situated on the beach, great kids pool, and kids club. But the food… worst I’ve had in Thailand by a long shot. We had better food cooked by 2 old ladies on a boat trip. Huge queues for breakfast. 2 restaurants and one cafe, all with the same menu. Extremely ordinary steaks or burgers, less than ordinary pasta and pizza, dreadful Thai food. No other options readily accessible."

"Multiple maintenance issues throughout our stay for my wife's 50th birthday. Day 1: Broken USB socket (only power source on one side of bed), broken drawer runners in wardrobe, and loose toilet roll holder. Reported issues, waited 15 mins for maintenance. Day 2: Despite telling reception at 6:30am we'd be out all day, returned to find room uncleaned and nothing repaired. They blamed a door button that was never explained to us at check-in. Poor coordination between reception, maintenance and housekeeping. Day 3: Drawers fixed but toilet roll holder still broken. Received apology cakes but insufficient for £385/night at a 5-star property. Basic room maintenance should have been completed before check-in. Disappointing experience for a milestone celebration."

"This is a beautiful resort hotel. The whole place is immaculate. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and never too busy. Tea & coffee is served to you which saves queuing for the machine. They will also give you a drink to take away if you want one. There are many sunbeds around the grounds. We never managed to get one near the pool. I think these are reserved very early and I cannot be bothered to get involved in the early morning sunbed rush! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. There are several good restaurants and bars very close to the hotel. Overall this was a great place to stay. "
