"We were very impressed with the hotel and the food offerings are exceptional. We stayed for 5 nights and purchased half board. The evening buffet was truly amazing with a very extensive range of food much of it being prepared individually for you. Situated on a beautiful stretch of beach and an amazing pool. Fabulous!!"

"Great resort in Khao Lak. I think it’s the nicest on the beach in the area. Very quiet and well maintained. They have a great breakfast buffet and the restaurant onsite is good. There are plenty of restaurants to try along the beach too. The spa facial was very nice too. "

"Whilst not a 5 star hotel (as it’s advertised) this property is incredible and very good value for the price. The beach outside is the best we’ve ever seen and the room design is perfect for families. We absolutely loved our stay here although the food/drinks are at a 3-star level. Just eat outside the hotel- amazing restaurants on the beach!"

"No question, the rooms are big and comfortable. The atmosphere is very sterile, more like a communist grand hotel than a tropical resort. Friendly waiters but terrible food (Thai food has little in common with real Thai food, Western food little with real Western food; and don't expect any fresh ingredients or fresh fish there!), large selection at the breakfast buffet but all bad quality (even the "fresh" fruit tastes of refrigerator). "We stayed for four nights in the Thai Life homestay in a Dusita Villa overlooking the central lake. The villa itself was roomy and well equipped with a firm king sized bed, air conditioning, a kettle and microwave oven. The windows all had insect screens. The shower was outside in a private enclosure. One of the best features was a large veranda looking out over the lake. Ours faced west so caught the sun in the evening.
