Highly recommended!

Our stay was fabulous! The staff was excellent in every area of service. Our bungalow looked out over the lake and it was so peaceful. The free breakfast was served fresh and hot and they accommodated my wife's gluten-free dietary needs. Our unit was clean and comfortable and well maintained. We would love to come back again.y

Garden of Eden

You do not get a room you get a little house with outdoor shower. A big terrace with very comfortably lounge chairs Thai style. Surroundings are green and lush and in the lake you see fish catching insects. The only “noice” are birds singing. The beach is a 10 minute walk where the ThaiLife lunch and dinner place is. They also offer beach chairs and massage. It’s all very reasonably priced. Love the place.

Breathtakingly beautiful

We loved our stay at ThaiLife so much. It's an incredibly beautiful property, exactly the kind I was looking for to get away from the crowds. I was instantly de-stressed and relaxed and did not even wish to leave the grounds, though I am normally very curious person who loves to explore. I loved their simple but lovely beach too. If I were to change one thing, I would say that putting gravel all around the reception area is not very guest-friendly. We roll our bags and the gravel destroys the wheels. Also, for a completely unknown reason both receptionists at the front desk acted in a non-friendly manner, which probably would not even register with me if Thai people were not usually so friendly, but it's no big deal.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft aber sehr teure Essenspreise am Hotel Restaurant. Grab fährt hier leider nicht daher nimmt das Hotel extrem hohe transferpreise. Gerade als Hotel sollte man den Gästen gute Preise geben. Für die Unterkunft gebe ich 5 Sterne Für das Essen und Transfer Preis nur 2 Sterne war aber sehr erholsam

Hôtel de charme +++ La quinzaine de bungalows est disséminée DD ans un superbe jardin bien entretenu et autour d’un lac . La plage privée et le restaurant se trouve à une dizaine de minutes à pied ou 5 min à vélo ( prêtés gratuitement) Le petit déjeuner ( sur le site) est excellent. Une très belle adresse

Séjour d'une nuit

Etablissement constitué de plusieurs logements bien espacés les uns des autres, on ne se dérange pas ! petit déjeuner très bien et de qualité. Plage privée à 500m du site mais on peut nous y emmener facilement. Seul point décevant mais qui concerne plus le restaurant situé sur la plage qui n'est pas à la hauteur selon moi

Wir bewohnten den Bungalow Nr. 17. Der war soweit ganz ok. In der Nacht war der Lärm von Motorrädern die hinter dem Bungalow durchfuhren nervend. Dazu kamen Tierlaute die so laut waren, dass an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Total entnervt verliessen wir den Ort nach einer Nacht, obwohl sieben Nächte gebucht waren. Die Bungalows sind sehr ringhörig gebaut.

Die Unterkunft liegt nur wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt. Alle Bungalows sind sehr groß und mit allem eingerichtet was man braucht . Sie sind alle um einen See angeordnet. Das Frühstück wird als Büffet angeboten und hat eine reichliche Auswahl an Wurst , Käse und Obst . Das einzige was da verbessert werden sollte wäre das Kaffeeangebot . Alles Angestellten sind super freundlich und auch die Reinigung der Zimmer war tadellos .Einziger Minuspunkt war das es von Khao Lak ca 20km entfernt ist , dafür ist es dort sehr sehr ruhig .

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, abseits vom Massentourismus, gutes Essen im Beachrestaurant, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die einzige Einschränkung sind derzeit stattfindende Bauarbeiten einer neuen Anlage im Strandbereich, die stören, wenn man sich den ganzen Tag in der Anlage bzw. in dem betroffenen Strandbereich aufhält.

Et meget afsides og stille sted

Det var et dejligt sted i meget smukke omgivelser. Servicen var høj og det meste af personalet var enormt hjælpsomme. Vi havde et lækkert h is med en kæmpe terrasse som vi nød. Det største minus var at det lå langt fra alt andet, og at den nærmeste by ikke var noget særligt. Men de havde en shuttle service der kørte til byen 3 gange om ugen og her kunn3 vi så købe snacks og drikkevarer.

Grundsätzlich kann ich mich den positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Es hat alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit geklappt. Wir hatten von Zuhause aus bereits den Shuttleservice beauftragt und, dass wir gleich von Anfang an einen Motorroller benötigen. Beides hat hervorragend funktioniert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, über das Frühstück kann man auch nicht schimpfen. Wenn weniger Gäste da sind gibt es kein Bufffet aber man kann auf einer Liste ankreuzen was man gerne noch zusätzlich hätte, z.B. Müsli, Cornflakes, Yoghurt, Bacon u.s.w.. Finde ich persönlich sogar besser als die vollen Buffets, wo nachher dann wieder die Hälfte entsorgt wird weil viel zu viel...Grundsätzlich ist alles schon beschrieben worden und wenn ich einen Kritikpunkt habe denn den das am Strand definitiv zuwenig Mülleimer sind. Was man dann leider auch an kleinen Plastikresten am Strand rund um die Liegen sieht. Die Gäste packen den Mist (z.b. Zigarettenpapier) mangels Papierkorb erstmal irgendwo an die Seite, nehmen es dann nicht mit und der Wind tut dann den Rest ....Alles in allem war es ein rundum gelungener Urlaub in einer wunderschönen Anlage und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Sehr schöne Anlage im Thai Stil, gepflegt, etwas abseits. Zum Erholen ideal. Personal sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Wir haben das Spa täglich benutzt, Personal ebenfalls sehr nett und professionnel. Wir waren zum 2. Mal im Thailife und bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal.

Delightful low key resort.

We stayed for four nights in the Thai Life homestay in a Dusita Villa overlooking the central lake. The villa itself was roomy and well equipped with a firm king sized bed, air conditioning, a kettle and microwave oven. The windows all had insect screens. The shower was outside in a private enclosure. One of the best features was a large veranda looking out over the lake. Ours faced west so caught the sun in the evening. We could watch the fish jumping and cormorants diving. There was a great sense of peace. We were given bicycles to use round the site at no charge and there are mopeds to hire . A good breakfast is served in a central covered area. The cooked element changed every day but always offered a choice of western or Thai dishes. The beach was a few minutes away by bicycle along a well lit track. The resort offers a free shuttle to the beach for those who don't want to cycle. They have a beach bar for lunch and evening meals and a massage station. There is a nightly buffet option but we preferred to eat a la carte. There is a reasonable choice of western and Thai dishes at fair prices considering that you are still in the resort. The beach itself is pretty low key and empty. It slopes gently and would be suitable for children but there is no lifeguard. There are a few other eating places nearby. Overall this is a low key calm beach resort that doesn't try too hard. It is a good choice for those who want a secluded beach and a restful environment.

Schönes Hotel, gepflegte Anlage, zum Strand mit (kostenlosem) Leih-Rad etwa 5min. Das Resort liegt etwa 25km von Khao-Lak Zentrum entfernt. Wer also kein Leihwagen hat, muss ein Taxi nehmen.

Hotel de charme, cadre très zen. Le personnel est adorable. Restaurant très bon. Idéalement situé pour les excursions sur les îles Surin, beaucoup moins bien pour Similan.

Pulizia esemplare belle villette spaziose arredate con gusto in uno scenario naturalistico magnifico spiaggia meravigliosa 10 minuti a piedi , biciclette gratuite colàzione abbondante. Fermata del bus : Bang Muang circa 20 minuti a nord di Kao Lak

Staff is very frienfly Villas are big, clean and nicely decorated. Outdoor shower and veranda were great. Beach buffet ( weekend) made the stay really special. The choice on the other buffets are limited but very correct to the low price ! Free bikes are great and real fun. You ll need them to ride ( 700 meters) to the beach for a massage, happy hour drink, a coconut, a swim etc Moped rentals at reception for same price as everywhere else. Pool is very inviting and a good size. Overall we had a super stay, we would highly recommend if you like some peace and quiet.

The Thai Life!

Thai life homestay is an amazing location and beautiful place to be. Very peaceful and away from any hustle and bustle. If you want to relax and go to the beach this is the place for you. Great service with a smile.

Séjour mars/avril 2016

Personnels très sympathique, souriant et serviable, idéal pour les familles, endroit calme et reposant, on y mangeant bien (même si j'y mangeais pas tous les jours), assez loin des commerces mais on peut louer des scooter, des vélos, des voitures ou vous pouvez aller à pied (il y a un grand magasin un peu dans le style européen à 15 min à pied de l'hôtel et en plus, les thaïlandais s'arrêtent souvent pour vous demandez s'ils peuvent vous déposez quelque part). Je viens dans cette ville tous les ans pour voir ma fille mais c'était la première fois que je réserve cette hôtel, j'avais toujours entendu de bonne chose avec mes amis, ma fille, les copains/copines de ma fille et des touristes sur cette hôtel, ils avaient tous raisons. A conseiller pour tous ceux qui viennent dans le coin.

Ruhige Lage zum Entspannen

Aufenthalt war angenehm, die Häuser standen nicht zu nahe beieinander und der Strand war gut zu erreichen. Zum Erholen perfekt. Frühstück war okay, das Essen abends a la carte absolut nicht zu empfehlen.
