"We’ve stayed at this hotel twice and it will absolutely be our first choice next time we’re in the area. Clean, quiet, comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, with Thai and Western options. Only wish there was a restaurant or cafe on the property. "

"A great little guest house where the lovely staff make you feel very welcome. I’ve been coming to Pong Phen for 20+ years & watched it evolve from a typical Kanchanaburi backpacker place to the extremely comfortable GH it is now. A huge variety of rooms to suit every budget, a great breakfast included and some of the best food in town - can’t be beaten!! It has a nice quiet setting on the River Kwai, down a lane so no traffic noise, and the most beautiful sunsets over the serene river. Plus in 40C+ the pool was just wonderful…… Thank you to all the staff for their kindness and hospitality on my first solo trip. Hopefully, see you again next year!"
