Try somewhere else

Room is run down. Has not been updated for at least 30 years western breakfast was stale bread. Thai food not much better. The bar at the pool has not been used for decades.

Sicher kämpfen alle Hotels mit sinkende Gästezahlen aber einige technische Instandhaltungen vor allen Dingen im Sanitärbereich sollten möglichst bald erfolgen. Sonst sehr schnell am Bahnhof, Busbahnhof, Am Skywalk und Innenstadt.

Rooms on a River.

A hotel with some rooms that are literally on the river. These rooms have balconies, which give a wonderful view of life on the river. Basic but clean. An easy walk to restaurants and the railway museum and military graveyard.

The hotel is the worst hotel I have ever been in my entire life.It is very noisy at night and the staff are not showing any responsibility to help me out during the night.I can’t sleep at all.I thought going to this hotel will give me a good night rest but I realised I am wrong at the first moment I step into this hotel.

Hotel rate is completely unreasonable

River Kwai Hotel is well painted from the exterior but the inside premise needs to be renovated. The room assigned to me has old fixtures and not well maintained. Stinky bidet with little bugs crawling around. The aircon is also old, hence, cannot give cool ambiance. Free Wifi is terrible, frequently asked for log-in username and password. On the other hand, breakfast is good and the hotel's location is in strategic position. It is walking distance from the bus station (7-10 min), night market, kanchanaburi train station, and prisoner of war cemetery (7-10 min). There are nearby restaurants and across the street is the 7-11 convenience store.

The hotel is extremely outdated and the hotel is on need of repair and renovation badly, the floors were all cracked up, the bed was broken with springs coming through the mattress, bathroom was not in good shape, the nightclub next door was thumping till 3am, when I asked for a different room due to condition I was told all are the same.
