When you live on an island in #Hawaii, our version of road tripping is neighbor island hopping! This past weekend, my Fiance and I went to #Hilo on the #Bigisland of Hawaii. We booked an excursion through Skyline Eco Adventures, zip lining over one of Hawaii's tallest waterfalls. This is an epic excursion and a wonderful company with professional and friendly guides. "I stayed at the Plumeria Inn for 4 nights. The unit is like a studio apartment. It is well outfitted with just about everything you need. I cooked all of my meals here. It was very clean and the interior is almost completely new. I was on my own this trip and felt very safe. My unit had a balcony with a hammock which was wonderful. The air conditioning unit worked great and was silent - so great. The proximity to the water and beautiful side road to walk and run on is great. It was an incredible value and I would absolutely stay here again. Ear plugs were helpful for sleep as there is some noise from the road - not a deal breaker at all. The manager is very responsive."
