Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review. You booked standard rooms without view to the Matterhorn on Hotels.com and we allocated you exactly the rooms you have booked. However your rooms on the ground floor had the view of the Matterhorn from the terrace. The WiFi in our rooms is working very well, as long as the plug for the WIFI router is not taken out of the socket when the guests want charge their own devices. We regret that you did not come to the reception, so we would have been able to solve the problem immediately

Dear SujaOur room key cards are security cards and should not be destroyed or thrown away after use. This is why we ask for CHF 20.-- to replace them from all our guests who do not return them when they leave which is also mentioned in the information brochure in the rooms.We only regret that you have no understanding in this matter.After your initial information, that you might have lost the key card, you never informed the reception that you definitely lost the key card. You went in and out of the room, without ever asking the staff to open the door for you. We therefore assumed that you found the key card again and we did not give you a replacement key cardOnly late in the evening of your last night you told us, after we asked you, that you had lost the key card. We do not have a public trash can in our bar/lobby as we have to separate all trash (food leftovers, paper, glass, cans, plastic, etc.) for recycling, as is required in Switzerland. It has nothing to do with a check, but our culture wants to respect our planet. We apply the same ecological principle for the bins in our hotel rooms.You booked a deluxe room with Matterhorn view, and you received exactly the room as shown in the first the picture on the reservation platform. It was the attic room on the top floor with a balcony and a view to the Matterhorn. We also regret that you found the wide variety of Swiss breakfast buffet not enough for a 3* Hotel. We have different breads, rolls, croissants, chocolate and raisin rolls, an average of 12 different sorts of cheese, fresh cheese, fruit salad, fresh pineapple, 2 other seasonal cut fruits, 2 type of yogurt, muesli, different cold cut meat & sausage, salmon, boiled eggs, scramble eggs, hot sausage and meat balls, a soup, cereals, juice/water/cola, self-service coffee machine.
