"This hotel is excellent. The staff (including the owner) is phenomenal. Everyone is so accommodating and welcoming. The staff speaks English and provides concierge service (directions, booking drivers/transportation and excursions). They were all concerned for my well-being and safety. The food at the restaurant was tasty. The pool is clean, warm, and aesthetically pleasing. The beds include a mosquito net to protect you. The air conditioning is nice and cold. The shower is nice and hot. Highly...

"The staff were amazing....very helpful, friendly and ready to go out of their way to help the guests. Room was small, but clean and the bed was comfortable. Located in the heart of Stone Town so it's close to most places of interest. I will stay again."

"Hotel with a unique, cool interior. Missing a safe and refrigerator in the room. There was a problem with the water supply in the shower, the water ran out in the middle of the shower. Experienced the same with the faucet in the sink. Also felt there was a bit of visibility into the shower area from the other buildings around."

"This property is in a quiet location in Stone Town within walking distance of the Darajani Bazaar and other attractions. The staff is great: Lulu, Jamila, Roderick, Iddi, and director Daniela go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The A/C in the room works very well, and the breakfast buffet (which is included) is outstanding. It's a great value and I'd recommend staying here."

"O quarto estava em boas condições de estrutura e limpeza, mas a estrutura do prédio de forma geral deixa um pouco a desejar. O quarto é muito escuro, mas a cama é muito boa. O chuveiro precisa de manutenção. A família que nos recebeu foi muito simpática e prestativa, mas não é exatamente um hotel."

"There was no pool and aircon was only in room, possibly in the resto downstairs, but in no common areas. Lovely staff, good food, nice decor and art. Lots of stairs. Airport shuttle was reasonable and good. "

"The location and hotel were fantastic. We didn't much care for the breakfast as it was missing some essential meat items and very heavy on bread. They had eggs but it just wasn't the best so we went out for breakfast the second day. The hotel is beautiful, well situated and has three pools but there's no bar area and I don't think they sell any alcohol so we ended up next door at Livingstones alot"

"Lovely place located in the middle of Stone Town. Decent beds. Lovely staff! Be aware: No curtains to keep the room dark in the morning. No fridge so your water will be hot. No turndown service with mosquito spray."
