"The Inn is about a 15 minute walk from Narai station. It is located in a former elementary school which gives it a nice look and feel. The lounge area is a nice place the sit and relax. Keep in mind that after 15:30 it is no longer possible to order coffee. For diner they serve 2 sorts of pizza, margeritha and quatro formaggi. There are not a lot of options to eat in Narai so either being your own instant noodles or reserve ahead. The personel is very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are a...

"Great place. As billed. Food was meh. Onsen was fantastic. If you’re a guy, you get access to a big barrel sauna. If you’re a gal, you’re out of luck—their culture, their rules. Nice place though. Great rooms, any amenities you can imagine available for use—robes, slippers, air purifiers, humidifiers, even little bitty crocs for kids. Good location, short stroll to Kozenji Temple. Overall I’d recommend it."

"A wonderful dinner was included in our stay. The chef came out to explain each dish. There is an outdoor bathtub that is amazing."

"For what I paid, it was good value. The bathroom was a bit small and hard to bath in if you are used to North American size bathrooms."

"Comfort Inn Shioriji — Great Value for Budget Travelers If you're looking for a no-frills base camp for exploring Matsumoto, Azumino, or Kamikochi without breaking the bank, Comfort Inn Shioriji delivers exactly what you need and nothing more. The hotel has ample parking lot for guests. Our room came with a double bed and a bunk bed, comfortably sleeping three — a solid setup for small groups or families traveling on a budget.
