"Lovely staff including the front desk staff including Ms. Kate. Very helpful Concierge staff including Mr. Chaw. Very attentive cleaning staff on Floor 10 including Ms. Apple. The staff at the Spa were also very welcoming. I do think the carpets in the hallway need shampooing as it is quite dusty. Moreover, the air conditioning unit in Room 1022 needs thorough maintenance, as it was quite moldy and then it was noisy after the engineers responded to my request for cleaning."
"A quiet spot just outside central Chiang Mai, if you want an escape from the hustle and bustle then this is the place for you. The rooms are simply wonderful, with all the extras you need without having to ask. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, no question is too much for them. Cannot recommend this hotel enough, plus the breakfast is amazing (with vegetarian and vegan options) so do not hesitate to include when you book!"
"The resort is great. I was only there for 1 night and so with the activities I've planned, I did not get to use the pool or the spa. It is a beautiful resort. Breakfast was good. They have varieties to choose from. We had 1 dinner there and the foods are good."
"This is a beautiful hotel designed in a traditional thai style located in the center of the old city. The swimming pool is gorgeous and the room was charming and spacious. The breakfast buffet did not have very many options as compared to other thai hotel breakfasts, but the food was delicious and high quality . My only complaint is that late night the hotel allows 2 “working girls” to sit in front of the hotel smoking and drinking beer. They were soliciting me as I entered and exited the hotel. I personally was not offended by that, but it’s probably not appropriate for such a nice hotel to allow that"
"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tamarind Village for so many reasons: a beautiful lush setting, wonderful friendly staff, and delicious authentic meals. Our room was clean, quiet, and close to the hotel’s amenities, their restaurant, pool, spa, and shop. It was also located perfectly inside the OLD City making walking easily accessible to much the city has to offer. Having stayed in Bangkok for the first part of our vacation, we didn’t feel we really experienced the richness of Thailand’s culture. However, Tamarind Village provided us with many niceties, such as providing tea upon arrival, robe and slippers, a city walk, and cultural pool side offerings. We will definitely recommend this hotel to others and appreciate those who traveled there before us for their glowing recommendations."
"Fantastic location, walking distance to anything youay possibly need. Rooms are quite large and comfortable, especially if traveling with family.
Loved Chiang Mai and we loved our stay.
Thank you 🙏"
