"We did not enjoy our stay at this guest house and ultimately left one night early. Our “superior lakeview suite” did not have any view of a lake, but the neighbors house and the street view. I’m unsure how they have been able to get away with calling this bedroom a “lakeview” and i’m even more confused by other reviews saying how beautiful the view was. "This is a gem of an overnight, a beautiful old inn on grounds fronting Lake Champlain in a grove of ancient white cedars. It lies in a very rural area but in its own right is an elegant place with spacious rooms. There is a golf course very nearby. If you are needing a quiet, refreshing break on the way north towards Canada in upstate New York, this is a great choice."
